A Sisterhood of Leaders

Situated on the banks of the Rappahannock River, St. Margaret's School is an Episcopal boarding and day school for girls in grades 8-12 and postgraduate. At St. Margaret's, we believe in the "Gospel of Do," where girls are challenged through our unique S.T.R.E.A.M. curriculum that integrates the river into academic learning. With 13 different varsity and club-level sports along with our visual and performing arts program and focus on emotional well-being, St. Margaret's is a place where girls thrive.

Join us on the river and learn about our 100 years of Sisterhood.
“I value the 'doing' as my former co-ed school had the majority of girls watching others on the stages, fields, and front rows of the classroom.  At St. Margaret's we are all in - it is an incredible Sisterhood where we 'learn by doing' and grow from real achievements."
